The Golden Globes were up on NBC Sunday night. Though Nielsen won't have the most accurate, time zone adjustments until later on Monday, metered-market households have the kudos tracking 12 percent above last year's rating.

Those time zone adjustments give the show a 13.1 rating and 20 share among metered-market households. That's the highest rating of its kind since 2007. And in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, the 18-49 score is up 23 percent from last year. The demo rating, a 7.6, is likely higher than the national one that will come later today but is up considerably from the 6.2 last year. Fast national ratings for the demo have the show up 29 percent from last year.

Final ratings for last year's 69th annual Golden Globes gave the show 16.9 million viewers and a 5.0 rating among adults 18-49.

As for the red carpet coverage, the one-hour pre-show pulled a 4.8 rating with metered-market households, a 26 percent jump from last year.
