Robert Pattinson is hard at work creating the perfect engagement ring for his Twilight love, Kristen Stewart, even though she’s not pressing him for something spectacular!” declares OK!

Oh?

An insider tells the magazine, “Kristen is not the type to wear anything too fancy. But Rob wants something that makes a statement, which means he’s got his work cut out finding something that will be original and impressive that she will wear!”

So what can the tabloid tell us about the bling Pattinson is supposedly designing?

OK! says the actor is “interested in combining rubies and black diamonds.”

“The idea for black diamonds came to him when he was writing a song for Kristen,” explains the outlet’s insider. “They are much more rare than regular diamonds, so Rob’s really drawn to the symbolism of that because they both feel like their relationship is extremely rare.”

Pattinson’s design has the gems “set into the band,” adds the magazine.

And when will he give Stewart the special bauble?

“Rob plans to take his time getting the ring design perfect,” says OK!

How convenient… for the magazine!

Because now the same publication that has made dozens of false claims about Pattinson and Stewart — including recent phony wedding details and a ridiculous baby report — can hope its readers forget about its source’s fabricated engagement ring specifics if and when the couple actually becomes engaged in the future.

OK! has long had ZERO credibility when it comes to Pattinson and Stewart, and its sources have not gotten any more reliable over time.

This “engagement ring” story is just another example of the magazine’s speculative, fact-free treatment of the couple.

A source close to Stewart and Pattinson tells Gossip Cop the report is “not true.”
