Thursday’s “American Idol” picked up right where Wednesday’s episode terrifyingly concluded, when contestant Symone Black crashed from the stage after finishing her Hollywood Week performance.
On tonight’s episode, viewers found out that Black had fainted, but regained consciousness shortly after as medics and crew tended to her.
When she was able to stand again, Black received applause from her fellow competitors.
She was then sent to the hospital with her dad to be checked.
“Hopefully I’ll be ready to pick it back up,” Black says on her way to the hospital.
She soon returns to the “Idol” set after being told “dehydration” was to blame for her frightening collapse.
