TV Ratings: ‘Two and a Half Men’ Steady Amid Controversy

CBS locked up a Thursday win with adults 18-49 (3.3 rating) and total viewers (13.4 million), despite modest dips for most of its series. The Big Bang Theory (5.4 adults rating) was down five percent from two weeks ago, while Two and a Half Men (4.1 adults) was steady with its recent broadcast after the show spent a week in the headlines. Person of Interest (2.9 adults) was down six percent, and Elementary (2.2 adults) was down four percent.

Though X Factor was down a tenth of a point from last week's Thanksgiving episode to a 2.7 rating among adults 18-49, Glee surged from it's last outing. The series was up 47 percent to a 2.2 rating in the demo. Fox averaged a 2.5 rating with 18-49-ers and 7 million viewers.

Last Resort was down 17 percent to a 1.0 rating with 18-49-ers on ABC, before Grey's Anatomy took a smaller dip of six percent to a 3.0 rating in the demo. Scandal, however, was up 10 percent to a season high of a 2.2 adults rating. The network averaged a 2.1 rating in the demo and 6.9 million viewers.

30 Rock (1.3 adults rating) was the only NBC series to rise last night, moving up eight percent to its best showing since the season premiere. Up All Night (1.2 adults) was down eight percent, while The Office (1.9 adults) dropped ten percent to a series low. Parks & Recreation, also at a low, was down 18 percent to a 1.4 in the demo. Rock Center With Brian Williams hit a 0.9 rating, a 18 percent drop. NBC averaged a 1.2 adults rating and 3.4 million viewers.

Neck and neck with NBC in the demo, CW averaged a 1.1 adults rating and 2.7 million viewers -- though final numbers could change after NFL preemptions are taken into consideration. The Vampire Diaries (1.5 adults rating) was up 15 percent, and Beauty and the Beast was up 33 percent to a 0.8 adults rating.

Univision had a 1.7 rating with adults 18-49.
