Are Andrea and Michonne making a home in Woodbury?
During last week's episode of AMC's The Walking Dead, the duo -- who have bonded and survived the winter together during their eight months out on the road -- Andrea and Michonne were on different pages when it came to their residence in the Governor's idyllic community.
While loner Michonne (Danai Gurira) feels strongly that there's more to the Governor than they're privy to, Andrea (Laurie Holden) is enchanted by his charming nature.

"It appears to be nirvana, a land of hope and opportunity," Holden tells The Hollywood Reporter. "It's the only place that Andrea has ever encountered that resembles the old world and she didn't even think it was possible. It's a dream and Andrea is desperate for a home, for a community."
After brutally murdering the helicopter pilot and his squad, the Governor (David Morrissey) clearly has an agenda beyond his public persona as a kind leader caring for a flourishing community that also includes finding amusement in a wall of decapitated heads his apartment.
"Andrea and Michonne are very different; Michonne is a misanthrope, she doesn't like a lot of people and is very happy to have it be just the two of them in the woods doing their thing," Holden says. "She also is very territorial of Andrea and she doesn't want to lose her and that friendship. There's just a lot of emotions attached and a lot of needs, desires and wants that clash between the characters."
Michonne for her part has been vocal about her distrust of the Governor, warning Andrea
that there's more to the Governor's dark side than she suspects, but Andrea -- even after questioning Merle about what kind of a leader he is -- continues to be entranced.

"We're really like magnets and very attracted to one another in the sense that we see what we believe to be a kindred spirit," Holden says of the nature of Andrea and the Governor's relationship. "But we all know that what you see on the surface isn't always the truth. She is in awe of the fact that this man built this town and saved all these people and that he's so eloquent and has a kindness and a self-assurance and she feels safe for the first time in her life since this all went down."
In the comics, Michonne winds up being raped, tortured and eventually thrown into the ring in the Governor's arena battles, which Walking Dead showrunner Glen Mazzara confirmed will be coming this season. Whether their AMC counterparts will make that discovery -- or if Andrea's relationship with the Governor could turn down a romantic path -- remain to be seen.
"It's inevitable that who the Governor really is is revealed and Andrea is no dummy," Holden warns. "A lot of this season is about heartbreaking discovery and it's fair to say that Andrea has never been so challenged. I think people are going to be yelling at their TV. Andrea is living in a world of danger and she's navigating around a snake."
