Russell Brand is being sued for allegedly hitting a pedestrian named Victor Sneed with his car last January in Los Angeles, Gossip Cop has confirmed.
In court documents filed in L.A. on Monday, the plaintiff claims the actor was driving “negligently” when he allegedly struck Sneed.

Sneed says he sustained injuries, incurred significant hospital and medical expenses, and suffered a “loss of earning capacity” in the wake of the accident.
His lawsuit seeks more than $25,000 in damages.
