Fox aired game two of the World Series on Thursday night, another victory for the San Francisco Giants, and fast affiliate ratings have the network on par for another strong performance with adults 18-49 -- though CBS topped the demo.
An even episode of The Big Bang Theory (4.8 rating with adults 18-49) topped the night. The comedy led into Two and a Half Men, which was down eight percent from last week's season high to a 3.0 adults rating. Person of Interest was up two tenths of a point to a 3.0 adults rating, while Elementary lost a tenth of a point for a 2.2 in the demo. CBS averaged a 3.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 12.8 million viewers.

ABC's Last Resort took a big hit against baseball. The freshman drama dropped 24 percent to a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49. Grey's Anatomy also saw a season low, dropping 15 percent to a 2.9 adults rating, though Scandal (2.0 adults rating) did manage to grow a tenth of a point from last week. For the night, ABC had a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 and 7.1 million viewers.
Though nearly all NBC series saw boosts on Thursday night, some of those increases may change after a NFL preemption in Minneapolis is considered for fast national returns. As it stands, 30 Rock was up a tenth of a point for a 1.3 rating with adults 18-49. Up All Night jumped three tenths of a point to a 1.6 adults rating. The Office was steady with a 2.1 in the demo, and Parks & Recreation was up three tenths of a point to a 1.9 adults rating. Rock Center With Brian Williams, up 44 percent, posted a 1.3 adults rating. The network brought in a 1.6 adults rating and 4.1 million viewers for the night.
On the CW, The Vampire Diaries was down a tenth of a point from last week for a 1.2 rating with adults 18-49, while Beauty and the Beast was even with last week's 0.7. The network averaged a 0.9 rating in the demo and 2.3 million viewers.
Univision had a 1.6 adults rating for the night.
