Star wants to know if Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s reunion is “For Love Or Money?”
The tabloid, having already invented an alternate reality in which Stewart supposedly called Pattinson “bad in bed” before getting a “rebound body” to win him back, now claims the stars’ reconciliation might just be to promote Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
“Taking Kristen back after getting played is royally embarrassing,” a so-called “insider” tells Star. “He is absolutely having his man card taken away.”
The mag’s source adds, “Even if this is some sham relationship, no amount of money in the world is worth having everyone in the world lose all respect for you.”
But the tabloid does put a price on Pattinson’s reunion with Stewart — $14 million.
“That’s what they each stand to make on the back end if this Twilight film does as well as their last one and if they each get a standard 2 percent,” writes Star.
The mag continues, “For that amount of dough, who wouldn’t give a cheatin’ angel like Kristen another chance?”
Charming.
Star seems to be under the impression that Breaking Dawn – Part 2 was destined to be a flop until Stewart and Pattinson renewed their relationship, and that they were financially forced to get back together.
This is the type of absurdity floated by an outlet that’s never had insight into the duo’s lives.
Pattinson and Stewart are both among Hollywood’s highest-paid actors.
They don’t need to turn their personal lives upside-down for a few extra dollars — not “$14 million” — on a Twilight installment set to top the box office regardless of their private status.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that while tabloids’ conspiracy theories regarding Stewart and Pattinson are to be expected, the latest Star report is “crass and completely nonsensical.”
