Demi Lovato and Wilmer Valderrama have gone their separate ways, a source close to the situation has confirmed to Gossip Cop.
We first wondered what was going on when Lovato wrote a string of eyebrow-raising tweets late Monday night and early Tuesday morning.
Lovato first wrote on Twitter, “Loyalty is EVERYTHING.. I’m thankful for my friends who stand by my side.”
Then she retweeted a quote attributed to Marilyn Monroe from one of her followers that read, “A wise girl kisses but doesn’t love, listens but doesn’t believe, and leaves before she is left.”
Next Lovato tweeted, “The smartest thing a woman can ever learn, is to never need a man.”
While there’s always a chance of reconciliation, we told the two right now are no longer together.
A rep for Lovato had no comment, and we’re waiting to hear back from Valderrama’s spokesperson.
