“Sean Penn and Madonna are still hung up on each other,” begins a piece from Us Weekly, which claims the actor went “gaga” for his ex-wife while sitting front row at her L.A. concert on October 11.
The tab reports that Penn, who was married to Madonna from 1985-1989, was “transfixed” by his former flame throughout the show, quoting a so-called “source” as saying, “Their chemistry was off the charts.”
“Chemistry?” He was watching her perform at a concert… along with thousands of other audience members.
Anyway, the purported “insider” goes on to note, “Madonna seemed to be performing entirely for Sean,” while he “was saying things like ‘Amazing!’ and ‘She’s so hot!’”
What’s amazing is that this supposed source could hear Penn so clearly over the blaring music and screams of fans, as well as interpret the meanings behind his and Madonna’s body language.
Right.
While Gossip Cop has confirmed Penn was indeed at Madonna’s show, we’re told that claims he was fawning over her are completely exaggerated.
A source close to Penn calls the mag’s story “silly.”
