A teaser trailer for Syfy's upcoming drama series has hit the web and gives a glimpse of what can be expected when it launches on television April 2013. Trion Worlds will also simultaneously release a MMO game tied to the show.
Defiance centers on a transformed Earth, inhabited by the survivors of a universal war. Forced to co-habitate, the group struggles to build a new society among the devastation. The 30-second promo shows brief shots of explosions, an apocalyptic world setting and futuristic life forms.
Grant Bowler, Julie Benz, Stephanie Leonidas, Tony Curran, Graham Greene and Jaime Murray star in the futuristic drama. Executive producers include Rockne O'Bannon (Farscape), Kevin Murphy (Desperate Housewives) and Michael Taylor (Battlestar Galactica).
