On Sunday, Dec. 2, Shahs of Sunset will return to Bravo's schedule.

In its second season, the series will once again chronicle the lives of young, wealthy Persian-American friends living in Beverly Hills. The renewal news came six months earlier, after Shah's finale became its most-watched episode to date. The Ryan Seacrest-produced reality series, which got off to a modest start, was able to generate ratings momentum over the course of its freshman run.

Among the storylines pursued in the series' second season: Reza Farahan has what he describes as a "gaylife crisis" in which he re-evaluates everything from his commitment to his boyfriend to his friendship with Mercedes “MJ” Javid and his lifelong resentment toward his grandmother. MJ is in search of a "good guy" to date, while Mike Shouhed thinks he has met the one -- only to see her non-Jewish heritage threaten to derail their relationship.

Meanwhile, Asa Soltan Rahmati finds herself in a financial crisis, while Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi finally decides to start a business with her sister. The series also has a new addition, Lilly Ghalichi, who despite the appearance of having it all struggles to balance her successful swimwear line in L.A. and her boyfriend back in Houston.

In an effort to drive tune-in, Bravo has arranged for two fans to have the opportunity to win a bar of gold worth up to $5,000 when they tweet at @BravoTV during the premiere. The winner will be announced at the end of the show that night.
