Please help us understand them.
I mean I, basically, understand the strategy. From the ad agency press release:
KykNET is a local TV channel broadcasting in Afrikaans. Launched...in October 1999, it’s since become a local hit through its mix of actuality and reality shows presented by average South Africans instead of presenters or celebs, thus the translation ‘Nothing’s put on’.
"Nothing's put on." Ah. So, no fake eyelashes, mustaches, and whatever's going on in the third ad down there.
I guess the visuals draw you in, right?
But once you get there, what are you left with?
Disgusting nose hairs.
Maybe the ads play better in South Africa.
