Sarah Hyland was able to celebrate Modern Family's big Emmy win for Outstanding Comedy Series on Sunday -- and she sure did it in high style, in a dress she co-designed with Marchesa's Georgina Chapman.

"What I like to wear is what I feel at that moment. I envision something in my head for an awards show and try to find something closest to it, or like I did tonight, I co-designed my dress with Georgina," the 21-year-old Modern Family actress -- who collaborated with Project Runway champ Christian Sirano on her 2011 Emmys dress -- told Us Weekly's red carpet correspondent Jeannie Mai Sunday.

Among Hyland's favorite touches on her one-of-a-kind gown? The flower applique on the neckline and bodice. "I got that from Marchesa. I like it because it's flowy and I knew it would be hot!" Hyland told Us.
