According to the National Enquirer, there’s a “secret” reason LeAnn Rimes checked into a treatment center last week.
Oh, do tell.
“She learned that her husband Eddie Cibrian was still in touch with a former lover,” claims the supermarket tabloid.
Um, what?
The woman in question is actress Scheana Marie, with whom Cibrian allegedly cheated on first wife Brandi Glanville, and the Enquirer’s sources are now alleging that while “their affair is definitely over… Eddie still has feelings” for her.
“Eddie’s very careful when he communicates with her,” says the mag’s source, explaining, “He uses a member of her inner circle as an intermediary, or texts and calls from friends’ phones.”
Everything changed, however, when “someone told LeAnn, and she freaked out,” says the so-called “insider.”
The Enquirer notes that Rimes has “suspected” Cibrian of “cheating for a while.”

And as for reports that Rimes’ legal battle with two Twitter users is what caused her to seek help, the Enquirer’s mole says that’s simply not the case.
“While LeAnn may have been upset over the Twitter postings,” the mag’s source counters, “The truth is that she had a meltdown when she found out Eddie was still talking to his former mistress.”
The Enquirer unfortunately picked up an already-debunked story from its sister outlet, RadarOnline.
Regardless, a rep for Cibrian is blasting the tab’s claims, telling Gossip Cop that the article has “absolutely no truth whatsoever.”
“He has not talked to [Marie] in over a year,” adds the rep, stressing there has been “no communication” between them.
