Katherine Jenkins is slamming rumors that she had an affair with David Beckham.
The “Dancing with the Stars” alum took to Twitter to blast the false reports, which were reportedly sparked by a fake magazine cover that claimed Beckham had left his wife, Victoria.
The Welsh opera singer wrote, “I’ve read some horrible rumours on here & want u 2 know I absolutely deny I’ve had an affair with David Beckham.”
She called the rumors “very hurtful” and “untrue,” and said she may take legal action against whomever fabricated the story.
Jenkins explained, “I’ve only met David twice: once at the Military Awards in 2010 & on a night out in the West End in Feb 2012,” noting, “Just so we are clear I have never been on my own with him and never arranged to meet up.”
A rep for Beckham similarly slammed the rumors as “rubbish” and “nonsensical.”
