“Is Romance Brewing Between ‘Bachelorette’ Emily Maynard & Host Chris Harrison?” reads a headline from RadarOnline, picking up on a report from its sister publication, Star magazine.
The webloid claims that the single mom and the longtime dating show host are “madly in love,” and their secret affair has “gone on for a lot longer than most people realize!”
According to the site, Maynard and Harrison’s ”electric attraction has been causing sparks to fly between them since she was first a contestant on the reality dating show ['The Bachelor'].”
A so-called “insider” for RadarOnline reveals, “Chris always openly told staffers that Emily was the most beautiful woman he’d ever laid eyes on.”
And that’s not all.
The site also spoke with former “Bachelor” winner Vienna Girardi, who confirms the romance.
Girardi says, “From the beginning, I always said there was no way Emily was really going to end up with one of the guys because she really wanted to be with Chris, and it was obvious he wanted to be with her too.”
The former contestant goes on to claim, “I guarantee Emily and Chris will end up together in the end,” adding, “If she gets engaged to another man, the show will probably spin it as a love triangle.”
Hmm.
As reliable a source as “Bachelor Pad” schemer/Kasey Kahl ex-girlfriend Girardi is, Gossip Cop had significant doubts about this tale, so we reached out to an actual insider, who told us the rumor of Maynard-Harrison romance is completely BOGUS.
“This is definitely not true,” our source confirms.
