11 Stunning Long-Exposure Space Photos

These incredible 'star trails' photos were taken aboard the International Space Station by Expedition 31 Flight Engineer Don Pettit. Prepare yourself for launch.

ISS Expedition 31 Flight Engineer Don Pettit created the images by taking multiple 30-second exposure photos and stacking them on top of each other, creating single images that equate an exposure of about 10 to 15 minutes.

The results, as you can see below, are simply breathtaking.
