Zhang Heng, 22, found the starved mutt during a stop in the Sichuan province. He fed her a drumstick, and the dog, “Xiao Sa,” resolved to follow him to Tibet.
The pup ran around 37 miles a day! The team gave her food and water along the way, and occasionally helped him out with a ride on one of their bicycles.
