"@IvankaTrump in a city of 8 million – we meet face 2 face – I thank u 4 listening – mother 2 mother – on this new years week – my best 2 us," the former View host, 54, tweeted on Wednesday night, referencing the Jewish holiday.

The chance encounter — which O'Donnell told ABC Eyewitness News anchor Bitt Ritter happened when the pair bumped into each other at the NYC restaurant Nobu at about 9 p.m. — comes just 10 days after Republican presidential nominee Trump, 70, revisited his decade-long feud with the talk-show host during the first presidential debate.

O'Donnell's name came up when Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton accused the former Apprentice host of making disparaging comments about women.

"Somebody who has been very vicious to me, Rosie O'Donnell, I said very tough things to her and I think everybody would agree that she deserves it and nobody feels sorry for her," Trump said during the debate on September 26.

Their animosity dates back to 2006, when O'Donnell criticized Trump on The View after he held a press conference about then-Miss USA Tara Conner, who had reportedly been seen drinking, using drugs and kissing a woman.

She mocked his haircut and his morals, telling viewers that he had been married twice, amid rumors of infidelity, and declared bankruptcy multiple times.

Trump retaliated by calling the actress, "disgusting" and "a slob" with a "fat, ugly face."

The outspoken pair's feud has continued on and off — with shots fired from both sides — ever since.
