Amazon Studios has announced series orders for three comedy pilots: I Love Dick, Jean-Claude Van Johnson and The Tick.

The first seasons of those shows will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in 2017.

Kevin Bacon stars in Jill Soloway's I Love Dick, adapted from the cult classic feminist novel about a couple's marital struggles in Marfa, Texas. Kathryn Hahn and Griffin Dunne co-star in the series, which is executive produced by Soloway, Andrea Sperling and Sarah Gubbins.

Jean-Claude Van Johnson stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as the titular character, a martial arts and film star who's also a retired but dangerous, undercover private contractor. A chance encounter with a lost love brings him back into the game. Kat Foster, Moises Arias and Phylicia Rashad co-star in Jean-Claude Van Johnson. The show is executive produced by Van Damme, Peter Atencio, Ridley Scott and David W. Zucker.

The Tick is based on the acclaimed comic about an accountant who realizes his city is owned by a global supervillain long thought to be dead. He falls in with a strange blue superhero as he uncovers the conspiracy. The Tick stars Peter Serafinowicz, Griffin Newman, Jackie Earle Haley, Valorie Curry, Yara Martinez and Brendan Hines. The series, a co-production with Sony Pictures Television, is executive produced by Ben Edlund, Barry Josephson and Barry Sonnenfeld.

"These pilots were vast in scope, disruptive in tone, challenging in story and sometimes even funny," said Amazon Studios' head of half-hour series Joe Lewis. "It's rewarding to see customers embrace them in such a huge way. We can't wait to premiere these series next year on Prime Video."
