Who knew Ellen Pompeo could bust such serious moves?
The "Grey's Anatomy" star showed off her dancing skills in an Instagram video posted on Wednesday, in which she gets down to DJ Khaled's jam "For Free."
Legendary choreographer and recurring "Grey's" actress and director Debbie Allen joins Ellen in the routine, along with music producer Thump Nixon. The trio appears to be kicking it on the set of the long-running medical drama, as a Seattle Grace hospital ambulance is visible in the background.
"It goes on and on...." Ellen captioned her clip, referencing the hit song's lyrics.
"WE ARE WORKING OUR A**ES OFF!!!" she added, tagging "Grey's" creator Shonda Rhimes and including the hashtags "#seasonwhat???" "shondalandproblems" and "ourfansarethegreatest."
The 46-year-old is one of the only original cast members left on "Grey's," and explained in an interview with People in July why she's stuck with her titular role all this time.
"My decision to stay on 'Grey's' was based solely on age," Ellen told the mag at the time, reflecting on what she called a "super-late start" in her acting career and eventual breakthrough. "At 33, I was wise enough to know my clock was already ticking in Hollywood."
Despite her straightforward professional outlook, Ellen seems to have no problem maintaining a looser youthful spirit – especially on the dance floor.
