Jake Austin and Jenna Johnson were the first pair eliminated from Season 23 of “Dancing With The Stars” on Tuesday. They received the least number of votes combined from the premiere last week and on Monday’s show. See the video below of their elimination.
In addition to Austin and Johnson, Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, Ryan Lochte and Cheryl Burke, and Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy were in the bottom four, according to votes. Austin scored 22 out of 40 points during the premiere and then a little better with 24 out of 40 on Monday. Meanwhile, Lochte and Burke got only 24 points out of 40 for their first week’s routine and again 24 out of 40 for their second dance.
Also in jeopardy were Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who received a 24 out of 40 for both their first and second routines. And McCormick and Chigvintsev’s first dance garnered just 22 points out of 40, while her second try on the dancefloor got her 26 points out of 40. In the end, Jake Austin and Jenna Johnson were the first to be eliminated.
