Marilu Henner and her partner Derek Hough gave a strong performance with their foxtrot to theme song of “Taxi” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Of course, Henner played Elaine on the hit show from 1978 to 1983. Watch the video below.
On the premiere of Season 23 of “Dancing With The Stars” last week, Henner and Hough received a very respectable 27 out of 40 for their jive to Becky G’s “Can’t Stop Dancin’.” The two worked well together, despite a story that falsely alleged Hough and Henner were “already feuding.” As Gossip Cop recently reported, Star magazine alleged Henner was butting heads with her partner because she’s supposedly “high maintenance” and always finding “something wrong.” But a rep for Hough exclusively told Gossip Cop the feud allegations were “false.”
In any event, the judges found fewer faults with Henner and Hough’s routine in week two. Carrie Ann Inaba said she “loved” it. Len Goodman felt the theme was “Taxi,” but her “dance was a rolls royce.” He added, “I thought it was smashing.” And Bruno Tonioli called Henner’s routine “lovely and “very graceful.”
