Angelina Jolie did NOT catch Brad Pitt saying Gwyneth Paltrow’s name in his sleep, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”
According to the National Enquirer, Pitt and Jolie supposedly got into a big fight after he suggesting she gain weight. As the story goes, the actor relayed a tip from ex-fiancee Paltrow’s lifestyle website, Goop, which says women should enjoy the occasional hamburger. Jolie supposedly ended up taking his suggestion, and her mood immediately improved once she ate. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, in bizarrely unnatural language, “Chilling after chowing that meaty snack, Hubba Hubba bedded with Brad, teasing him into a make-out session, but he suddenly dozed off.”
The tabloid’s dubious insider then claims that when Jolie tried to wake her husband up, he drowsily responded, “Gwyn, let me sleep a few more minutes.” The magazine’s seemingly manufactured source adds, “Fuming, Angie fled the bed in a fury, but recounting the incident to a galpal later, she felt oodles better when told, ‘Hey, it’s not like he said her name in the throes of ecstasy – it was more like, ‘Gwyn, don’t be a nagging bitch!'”
Despite the absurdity of this story and how fake the “insider’s” quotes sound, Gossip Cop still checked in with a source close to the situation, who exclusively assures us this incident simply never happened. We’re assured the tabloid’s entire account of events is pure “nonsense.” Of course, the Enquirer has a long history of publishing tall tales about the famous couple, so this latest bogus story comes as no surprise.
Gossip Cop recently called out the publication for alleging Pitt and Jolie are addicted to Botox and wrinkle fillers. Shortly before that, we busted the tabloid for its outrageously false claim about Pitt and Jolie planning a nude vow renewal ceremony in the jungle. The magazine’s latest story about the couple is equally fabricated.
