Are Katharine McPhee and Elyes Gabel feuding? A report claims the “Scorpion” co-stars are “battling on set.” Gossip Cop looked into the story, which comes from one of the tabloids.
“These two actors are definitely bringing the prime-time drama,” writes OK!, which claims McPhee and Gabel “have brought their volatile off-screen romance to set, to the dismay of producers.” A so-called “set insider” is quoted as saying, “They go from being all over each other to arguing night and day. They’re constantly breaking up and making up.”
The supposed source goes on to claim, “They can even be heard yelling at each other in their trailers.” Now, according to the magazine, “producers are reportedly at their wits’ end and considering killing off one of their characters.” The alleged tipster adds, “It’s clear these two can’t mix work and pleasure.”
It’s more like OK! has trouble mixing fact and fiction. Fact: McPhee and Gabel work together on “Scorpion.” Fiction: Their personal relationship is causing on-set problems. Not so, says a rep for the actress. Gossip Cop is exclusively told by McPhee’s spokesperson that this feud tale is “not at all true.”
The magazine’s sister publication Star has also published hit pieces about McPhee, claiming last year that she was a “diva,” and then wrongly insisting this past June that she got a boob job. Perhaps the two outlets should just lay off the McPhee beat.
