Scarlett Johansson did NOT hire a male stripper to dance for one of the makeup artists on the set of her upcoming movie, despite a ridiculous tabloid tale. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it “never happened.”
The actress is currently filming the comedy, Rock That Body, alongside co-stars Kate McKinnon, Demi Moore and Zoe Kravitz. According to the National Enquirer, all of the women threw a 30th birthday party for one of the film’s makeup artists, who had supposedly just been dumped at the altar. “Scarlett, Kate, Demi and Zoe tried cheering their pal up with a ‘bachelorette/birthday bash’ starring a hunky male stripper,” says the magazine’s so-called “source.”
The outlet’s dubious insider then goes on to claim this adult entertainer “showed up in a grizzly bear costume, then stripped to reveal he was wearing a tiny diaper.” The story gets even more absurd when the publication’s seemingly manufactured source alleges the male dancer “leaped up on a table, flinging incredibly high kicks – then kicked his own head, crashing to the floor and suffering a concussion.”
Despite how unlikely this story seems, Gossip Cop still checked in with a rep for Johansson, who exclusively tells us the supposed stripping mishap is “completely fabricated” and simply “never happened.” In fact, the Enquirer seems to be making a habit of reporting nonexistent events from the set of the actress’s films. We recently called out the tabloid for its bogus report about Johansson having a wardrobe malfunction that left her nude while filming the sci-fi thriller, Ghost in the Shell. No such situation ever occurred, and neither did the tabloid’s latest tall tale involving Johansson and a male stripper.
