Jennifer Lopez and Calvin Harris are NOT dating, despite a tabloid report falsely claiming they’re “secretly seeing” each other. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the story.
A headline in this week’s National Enquirer announces, “Calvin Seeing J.Lo On The Down Low.” The accompanying story begins by needlessly dissing Harris’ ex Taylor Swift, with it being said he’s “swapped a flat booty for one of the world’s best.” A so-called “source” is quoted in the publication as saying, “Calvin and Jennifer are very careful to not be seen together. It’s very early days, and they’re keeping things on the down-low.”
According to the supermarket tabloid, “Calvin and Jennifer have been spending tons of time at a Las Vegas hotel under the cover story that the duo are discussing a possible musical project.” The supposed snitch goes on to say, “They’ve become really close. There’s epic chemistry between them.”
The rest of the article is filled out with alleged details on Lopez and Harris’ respective splits. The magazine ends its story by suggesting the new romance was sparked back at the singer’s July birthday party, where they “danced up a storm” with Lopez “wearing a sheer jumpsuit that showed off exactly was Calvin was missing with Taylor!” And Gossip Cop suspects that’s exactly why the National Enquirer went with this story.
Lopez and Harris hung out at her birthday, a video was posted on Instagram, then they each split with their significant others, so why not link them together now? The problem, though, is that it’s just not an accurate conclusion. Gossip Cop is exclusively told by a source close to Lopez that the dating claim is “false.”
