Paris Hilton had kind words for Donald Trump on Wednesday. But, she declined to say whether she’s voting for him. Watch below.
Hilton made appearances on a number of shows today to promote her new fragrance, Gold Rush. But on CNBC’s “Closing Bell,” the conversation turned to the presidential election when Ivanka Trump was brought up. It was noted the two have last names that would propel their careers, but they both established themselves as businesswomen in their own right.
“I’ve known her since I was a little girl,” Hilton said of Ivanka. “I really respect her. I think she is a brilliant businesswoman and she handles it very well… I admire her.” Naturally, the follow-up question was about Trump himself, and the heiress was asked what she knows about the GOP nominee that the public doesn’t.
Hilton answered, “I’ve known him since I’m little girl. He’s a very nice man. You know, I think on TV people like to say things about certain people, but he’s actually a very sweet person. I like him a lot.”
She was equally polite when asked about voting for Trump, but entirely non-committal. Hilton stated, “My mother told me never to talk about money or politics.” Check out the video below.
