Ricky Schroder is getting divorced. The actor’s wife, Andrea, is calling off the nearly 24-year marriage, having noted in her filing “irreconcilable differences.” The couple have four kids.
The Schroders wed on September 26, 1992 after the birth of their son Holden, and went on to have son Luke and daughters Cambrie and Faith. Andrea is seeking legal and physical custody of Faith, who’s just 15 years old. The other three kids are adults. The actor’s estranged wife is also asking for spousal support from Schroder.
Ricky Schroder is best known for his TV roles as a kid on “Silver Spoons” and as an adult on “NYPD Blue.” He also starred in the films The Champ and Crimson Tide, among others. Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Schroder to find out if anything in particular precipitated the couple’s split after close to a quarter of a century together, but we have yet to hear back.
Neither the actor nor Andrea have commented on their social media accounts about their impending divorce. Her Instagram account features her looking happy with their kids while traveling through Europe for a few weeks in the summer, while Schroder’s account shows him similarly looking happy while vacationing in Alaska.
