Seth Meyers is taking things up a notch for the first presidential debate.
Meyers' Late Night will air a special live episode Monday, Sept. 26, following the first presidential debate between candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. Sept. 26 marks the first formal debate between Clinton and Trump following the Commander-In-Chief forum that aired Sept. 7 on NBC.
Another NBC on-air talent, NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt, is set to moderate the debate.
In addition to the post-debate discussion, Meyers will welcome guests Will Forte and Mandy Moore on the Sept. 26 broadcast.
Meyers previously aired two live shows this summer at the tail end of the Republication and Democratic National Conventions after Trump and Clinton accepted their party nominations.
Meyers has used the headline-grabbing presidential election to his advantage. Before taking over the Late Night desk, Meyers was known for his political and news coverage as the anchor of Saturday Night Live's "Weekend Update."
Stephen Colbert, previously known for his half-hour Comedy Central series The Colbert Report, has employed similar tactics on CBS' The Late Show. In July, Colbert did a series of live shows tied to every night of both the RNC and DNC. HBO's Bill Maher also did several Real Time specials tied to the conventions.
Late Night With Seth Meyers airs weeknights at 12:35 a.m. on NBC.
