Lady Gaga “Wardrobe Malfunction” Claim NOT True

Lady Gaga did not have a wardrobe malfunction this week, despite a laughable report about her boobs. Gossip Cop can, ahem, expose what’s really going on.

OK! blares in a headline on its website, “Boob Slip! Lady Gaga Suffers Embarrassing Wardrobe Malfunction In Skimpy Shirt — See The Raunchy Pics!” In the accompanying photo gallery, the tabloid says that “when the mother monster was spotted arriving at BBC 1 on September 9, her trashy outfit showed she may have gone back to her meat dress wearing days.”

“When the blonde rebel took off her oversized back bomber jacket, she revealed something photographers were happy to capture,” writes the outlet. “The 30-year-old songstress donned a metallic crop top and barely there bottoms, that left little to the imagination as to Gaga’s post breakup bod. But the uber short shiner backfired on the ‘Perfect Illusion’ singer, showing a little something extra — a healthy dose of under boob!”

So, it was a “healthy dose of under boob,” but also a wardrobe malfunction? Huh? What really happened is that Gaga wore the shirt like that on purpose. In fact, she wore a similarly cropped, barely-there shirt again on Friday night, with the bottom of her breasts again on display.

Was that a wardrobe malfunction, too? Of course not. It’s not a wardrobe malfunction when Gaga intentionally wore a boob-baring top. The exposure wasn’t accidental, nothing “backfired,” and she certainly wasn’t “embarrassed.”

And Gossip Cop suspects OK!‘s calling it a “wardrobe malfunction” isn’t accidental either. The magazine wanted people to click through its gallery, so it presented the photos in the bait-iest way possible. Of course, one could argue that pictures of Lady Gaga’s under boob don’t need any additional sensationalizing to grab people’s attention.
