The 2016 Stand Up To Cancer telethon airs live Friday night from the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and Gossip Cop has a live stream. Watch below!
Dozens of top stars are coming together for the hour-long, commercial-free telecast to raise money for cancer research. Viewers at home can participate by calling the celebrity phone bank and donating money while talking to one of the stars. There will also be opportunities for people to donate and interact with celebs through social media.
Just a few of the big names participating in this year’s fundraiser are Tom Hanks, Ben Affleck, Bradley Cooper, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Emma Stone, Kristen Wiig, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Hart, Jon Hamm, Josh Gad, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and many more A-listers. Additionally, there will be musical performances by Celine Dion, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Little Big Town, Charlie Puth, and more artists. There will also be a special appearance by Vice President Joe Biden, who lost his son last year to brain cancer.
Katie Couric co-founded Stand Up To Cancer in 2008, and the organization has raised more than $370 million for cancer research since its inception. The televised benefit takes place every two years, and the 2016 installment is executive produced by Cooper. Watch below!
