The top-ranked men's tennis player will bring cameras along during the 2017 tennis season.
Novak Djokovic is getting his own reality show at Amazon.
The top-ranked men's tennis player, set to play Gael Monfils in the U.S. Open semifinals later on Friday, has signed on for his own docuseries with the streamer — letting cameras follow him throughout the 2017 season.
“Passion, perseverance, commitment and self-awareness are key elements of a champion, but these are impossible to maintain without strong support around you," said Djokovic. "I am fortunate to have the support of both a caring family and a strong team working with me. My fans have been suffering and celebrating with me from the very beginning of my career on the tennis courts and now I want to share with them all my daily life and what’s important to me — my values, my beliefs, and my habits — and also introduce to them all the amazing people that are always next to me.”
Novak, still a working title, will air on the Prime Instant Video platform in the coming year in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan. It was based on a concept by Alberto Scarpetta and Djokovic and a co-production by The WorkShop and Peter Berg's Film 45. (Berg will also serve as executive producer.)

Novak also marks something of a first for the genre, as tennis players have been largely absent from the reality TV lens.
