The CBS show nearly matches a dominant 'America's Got Talent' in the key demo.

Big Brother had a good night. Climbing in its first post-Olympics Wednesday outing, the CBS series hit a 2.0 rating among adults 18-49 — nearly matching the evening's winner, America's Got Talent.

It matched a season high in the key demo and marked a season best in total viewers, pulling 6.4 million viewers to the hour.

Talent and Big Brother did not go head-to-head, which likely aided both series, but Talent emerged on top with a 2.1 rating in the key demo (up from the last Wednesday original) and an insurmountable 10.5 million viewers. NBC saw Night Shift return with a 1.1 rating among adults 18-49 — aiding the network's overall Wednesday win in the demo.

CBS also had an original American Gothic, limping in at a 0.5 rating with adults 18-49, while Fox had a boosted outing of MasterChef (1.4 adults).

ABC aired repeats throughout primetime, but The CW had a new episode of Whose Line Is It Anyway? come in with a 0.4 rating among adults 18-49.
