Sofia Vergara wearing makeup in the shower is not leading to her and Joe Manganiello splitting up, despite an absurd claim. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this falsehood. We’re told it’s “wrong.”
According to the repeatedly discredited Celeb Dirty Laundry, Vergara’s “marriage might not last very long if the actress keeps up with her bizarre beauty routines.” After the actress recently noted in an interview how she always wants to look good, and even goes into the shower with a “little bit of mascara, a little bit of blush and some lipstick,” the webloid manufactured how Vergara’s beauty regimen is “off-putting for her husband.” Without any proof or even one single source, the outlet theorizes that while Manganiello was initially attracted to the “Modern Family” star’s beauty, he’s eventually going to “grow tired” of her attending to her looks, including getting made up for the shower.
Gossip Cop, however, looked into the claim and we’re exclusively assured the untrustworthy site’s article is “wrong.” A source close to the couple says Vergara and Manganiello, who wed in November 2015, remain happy and any insinuation otherwise is untrue. Our impeccable insider adds that while Vergara said in the same interview that her husband doesn’t care about her “imperfections,” she still does a little extra to look good for him, even in the shower, because she wants to and not out of fear that they will split up.
