Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton October Wedding Report NOT True

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are not getting married in October, despite a report wrongly announcing “the wedding is on.” Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story.

It’s alleged in this week’s Star that the “overjoyed ‘Voice’ co-stars are finally moving forward with spare-no-expense nuptials.” Claiming “the duo will exchange vows in late October,” the magazine writes Shelton and Stefani are “finally getting hitched, and they’re pulling out all the stops.” As proof, it’s said “the couple have reportedly hired celebrity wedding planner Jerri Woolworth to create a fairy-tale affair for them.”

“It’s incredibly happy news,” a so-called “source” is quoted as saying. “They think it would be cute to walk down the aisle exactly a year after they started dating.” And though there will supposedly be “about 150 guests,” the tabloid claims “the couple hope to keep the wedding as private as possible.” The outlet’s alleged tipster adds, “They aim to do it outdoors, surrounded by loved ones amid the changing leaves. It’s going to be beautiful!”

Well, if Shelton and Stefani really want to keep things “private,” a “source” close to them wouldn’t be talking wedding details with a gossip rag. Furthermore, Star has an awful track record with these particular stars (not to mention many others). Last December, for instance, the magazine announced Stefani was pregnant with Shelton’s baby, “but he’ll never marry her.”

Then in March, the tabloid made up a shameful “miscarriage” cover story about Stefani. And just last month, there was a fabricated tale about Stefani and Shelton getting prenup advice from Gwyneth Paltrow.

Now Star has jumped ahead to a wedding… that doesn’t exist. A rep for Stefani exclusively tells Gossip Cop that at this point in time, the claim the couple is planning to marry in October is “untrue.” And, by the way, she and Shelton aren’t even engaged.
