Simone Biles won gold in gymnastics at the Rio Olympics on Thursday, and now stars are congratulating the athlete. Check out stars’ reaction tweets!
As Gossip Cop reported, Biles placed first in the women’s individual all-around competition. She also made history, becoming the first U.S. woman to win the gold while also being the reigning world champion in the sport. Fellow Team USA member Aly Raisman finished in second to take the silver.
That’s a lot to celebrate, and among those doing so are presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. She tweeted, “Congrats on bringing home the gold and silver, Simone and Aly. We’re all so proud of you!” Olympics super-fan Leslie Jones, who watched the event in person, exclaimed, “GOLD AND SILVER!! USA ROCKS!!”
