Tiffany Trump is NOT being considered as a new co-host of “The View,” despite a fabricated tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”

According to OK!, producers of the daytime talk show were so impressed with Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention earlier this month that they’re considering her for a spot. A so-called “source” tells the publication executives “noted how poised and comfortable Tiffany was on camera” and are now “campaigning” to hire the daughter of presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The magazine’s dubious insider continues, “They’d have an inside connection to the White House if her dad wins,” adding, “Ideally they’d want Ivanka, but they know there’s no chance of that. Landing Tiffany could really help their ratings!”

However, Gossip Cop is exclusively told by a spokesperson for “The View” that producers aren’t trying to get Trump as a new co-anchor, and the magazine’s report is simply “not true.” In fact, OK! chose a terrible time to concoct this fake story, since earlier on Wednesday “The View” announced its new additions for the upcoming 20th season, and Trump isn’t among them. Instead, ABC News’ Sara Haines has joined as a permanent co-host, while Jedediah Bila and Sunny Hostin will appear as frequent guest hosts.
