Bachelor in Paradise Courtesy of ABC/Craig Sjodin'America's Got Talent' wins the night among adults 18-49, as most shows recover from post-convention dips.
NBC handily won Tuesday night with the pairing of America's Got Talent and Running Wild With Bear Grylls.
For Talent, its steady 2.4 rating among adults 18-49 topped all other TV series for the night — holding with last week's showing. Running Wild improved nearly 30 percent from its Monday return to a 1.4 rating in the key demo and hit a high in total viewers (5.3 million viewers).
ABC scored second-pace status with the return of Bachelor in Paradise. It also jumped nearly 30 percent from its year-ago premiere with a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49, leading into a displaced Mistresses (0.6 adults).
On CBS, Zoo was slightly improved to a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49. Fox had back-to-back episodes of Coupled, which averaged a respective 0.5 and 0.4 rating in the key demo.
The CW had lifted outings for Whose Line Is It Anyway? (0.5 adults) and MADtv (0.4 adults).
