Kate Middleton and Prince William’s France vacation is not to deal with “relationship issues” or a “marriage crisis,” despite a made-up report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the tall tale. We’re told there’s “no truth” to the claim.

According to the often inaccurate Celeb Dirty Laundry, Prince William and Kate Middleton flew off to Pau-Pyrenees, France in “an effort to save [their] crumbling marriage.” Without offering any proof, the webloid falsely states as fact that there may be “another royal divorce crisis” because Prince William and Kate Middleton are allegedly having “marriage trouble.” There’s no other mention in the rest of the site’s article about any actual marital problems the young royals may be having.

Instead, the webloid’s story is a convoluted regurgitation of other outlets’ reporting about the security staff accompanying Prince William and Kate Middleton, as well as how they flew on a friend’s private jet, so their flight won’t cost British taxpayers anything. Again, none of those things have anything to do with the untrustworthy site’s premise that the royals’ marriage is in “crisis.” Even more absurdly, CDL ends its drivel about the trip to France, which it claimed was to “address Kate Middleton and Prince William’s marriage trouble,” by speculating that the couple may “return from Pau-Pyrenees with another little royal baby on the way.”

Basically, the site has nothing to back up its sensational headline about Kate Middleton and Prince William having a “marriage crisis” or “relationship issues.” It has no proof or information from sources. Nor does the webloid apparently have any scruples about making up stories about the royals.

Sadly, Gossip Cop is no longer surprised by any of this. We recently busted the webloid for falsely alleging Middleton was flirting with Ben Ainslie, an Olympic sailor. Gossip Cop also shamed the seemingly shameless site for wrongly reporting that Middleton was taking over for Queen Elizabeth. Much like those entirely inaccurate claims, the latest about the royals having marriage problems is untrue. A palace insider exclusively tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth” to CDL’s new piece of fiction.
