Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross’ marriage isn’t “on the rocks,” despite a report claiming the couple may split soon. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story.
“Ashlee Simpson and Evan Ross are just weeks away from celebrating their second wedding anniversary,” writes In Touch, but “it could be their last.” A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “They’ve been having problems for a while now.” Tellingly, though, the magazine never says what those supposed “problems” are.
Instead, the outlet claims that “even a July 15 date night to LA’s Hollywood Bowl to see Evan’s mom, Diana Ross, in concert, turned into a nightmare.” An “eyewitness” alleges, “They were bickering nonstop and kept staring daggers at each other. It got so bad that they actually left before the show even ended. The night was a total disaster.”
But Simpson and Ross’ marriage has turned out to be anything but disastrous. In fact, the actress-singer just posted the kissing photo seen below on Instagram on Friday, calling her husband the “love of my life.” She also declared in the post before that, “Love my husband.”
As for Ross, he recently shared of a snapshot of himself with Simpson on his own Instagram, writing, “Sexy sexy. I love my wife so much!!!! @ashleesimpsonross. You make everyday the best day of my life.” What’s more, though, is that he also posted a picture from the aforementioned concert (see pic above).
“ME and MY beautiful wife had the best time. Celebrating MOM!! #hollywood bowl..LOVE..,” he said in the caption, clearly disproving the In Touch claims about the night out. Still, Gossip Cop checked in with one of our mutual pals, who exclusively tells us the tabloid’s “on the rocks” allegations are “far from true,” and the couple is quite “happy.”
