HollywoodLife has spent years telling lies about Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Now the fabrication factory is back at it.
As Gossip Cop reported, Stewart’s Elle UK cover story was released earlier this week. In it, she publicly acknowledged for the first time that she’s “in love” with girlfriend Alicia Cargile. Since then, HollywoodLife has published no less than five so-called “exclusives” on Stewart and her love life.
And though Stewart is currently quite happy with Cargile, the blog made Pattinson the focus of two of those “exclusives.” Gossip Cop already busted the site’s tale about Stewart supposedly warning Pattinson before she spoke about Cargile in the interview. Then on Friday afternoon, the webloid tried to pull one over on readers again with a new story on how “happy” Pattinson is for his former girlfriend.
But no one in Pattinson’s camp or Stewart’s speaks to HollywoodLies. Gossip Cop has been told this again and again over the years. And the proof is right there in the long list of inaccurate tales the outlet has spun about the former couple, both when they were together and since then.
After all, if HollywoodLife really had legitimate Stewart and Pattinson sources, wouldn’t it have had all these exclusives before the actress’ recent interview? A skeptic might think the site is only manufacturing these stories now to capitalize on the attention surrounding Stewart’s remarks.
But whether the webloid is outright fabricating its “exclusives” or has been duped by insiders falsely claiming to know the stars, the bottom line remains the same: The claims in these stories are made up. And that’s why they deserve a big fat zero on our real-or-rumor meter.
