Fifth Harmony covered a medley of Destiny’s Child songs on Thursday’s episode of “Greatest Hits.” Watch the performance in the video below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, “Greatest Hits” is a new ABC music series hosted by Kelsea Ballerini and Arsenio Hall. It features famous musicians paying tribute to the best songs from the ’80s, ’90s and 2000s. Each episode highlights a different five-year period celebrating the biggest hits from that era, and Thursday’s installment showcased music that came out between 2000 and 2005.
Fifth Harmony brought down the house with their cover versions of the Destiny’s Child hits “Say My Name,” “Independent Women,” “Bootylicious” and “Survivor.” Also featured on the latest episode were Zendaya and Mario collaborating on his track, “Let Me Love You,” Pat Monahan and Kenny Loggins performing a mash-up of “Calling All Angels” and “This Is It,” Little Big Town singing Alicia Keys’ “Fallin,'” and Rachel Platten and Lee Ann Womack doing a duet of their respective songs “Stand By You” and “I Hope You Dance.” In addition, co-host Ballerini covered music by Britney Spears, Maroon 5, and Shania Twin.
As Gossip Cop previously noted, last week’s “Greatest Hits” focused on the early ’90s, with Little Big Town recreating the classic Oasis hit “Wonderwall,” Boyz II Men throwing it back to “Motownphilly,” Seal singing his anthem “Kiss From A Rose,” and Bonnie Raitt and Andra Day teaming up for a duet performance.
On next week’s season finale, “Greatest Hits” will pay tribute music from all eras. Check out full video of Fifth Harmony covering Destiny’s Child on “Greatest Hits” below!
