Paul Zerdin returned to “America’s Got Talent” on Tuesday, less than a year after winning the NBC competition. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Zerdin was crowned the most talented when he won “AGT” season 10 last September. Throughout the competition, he showed not just a deft ability with ventriloquism, but also a creativity that the judges hadn’t seen before. It led to plenty of laughs each week, not to mention a $1 million prize for Zerdin.

But just days after his big victory, Zerdin was accused of stealing the ideas for his act. Two other longtime ventriloquists alleged he copied stunts they had done years before, but said they did not plan on suing him. Indeed, Zerdin never faced a lawsuit, and NBC never commented on the allegations.

And far from the controversy sullying his reputation, he was welcomed back to the series for the first live results show of season 11. As Gossip Cop reported, the quarterfinals began on Tuesday. And now amidst all the good and band news for this year’s crop of contestants, Zerdin delighted the audience once more, including Simon Cowell, who wasn’t a judge last year when Zerdin won.

The new performance included Zerdin and his signature dummy sidekick actually doing an impression of Cowell. Check out the video below!
