Miranda Lambert is NOT pregnant, despite a report ridiculously claiming she’s having a baby to get “revenge” on Blake Shelton. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story.
Wednesday’s new cover of Life & Style declares, “Miranda Strikes Back At Blake: Revenge At Last!” It’s only well into the accompanying story that it’s alleged Lambert is with child, with the magazine writing she’s “outdone her ex and his new love when it comes to romance, career, fans and, in the biggest bombshell of all, baby news.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “There are whispers that Miranda is pregnant with boyfriend Anderson East’s baby.”
“If she starts a family with another man, it would have to make Blake’s blood boil,” claims the supposed source. “His greatest wish was to have a baby with Miranda during their relationship. But now it’s Anderson by her side, and Miranda is thriving like never before.” According to the outlet, “For Miranda, it’s the ultimate revenge at last.”
The rest of the story pits Lambert and East against Shelton and girlfriend Gwen Stefani, from career comparisons to a “race to the altar.” It’s further said, “As Anderson and Miranda happily prepare to welcome a child, and dream of having a little boy,” Shelton and Stefani are “frustrated” she has been unable to get pregnant thus far. And, “while everything’s going right for Miranda and Anderson,” the alleged tipster adds, “Blake and Gwen seem to be struggling on so many fronts. It really is a sweet revenge.”
Well, only a tabloid would compare two celebrity couples and try to make one seem inferior because they’re not having a child. But Lambert and East aren’t either. A rep for the country songstress exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “She is not pregnant.” What’s more, though, is that we’ve learned Life & Style was informed of that, but chose to run the false allegations anyway. By the way, this is the same outlet that wrongly said Lambert was pregnant with Shelton’s baby back in 2013.
