Kylie Jenner is not “nearly broke,” despite a ridiculously sensational report. Gossip Cop can bust the story.
RadarOnline exclaims in a headline on Tuesday, “Poor Little Rich Girl! Kylie Jenner Nearly Broke After Foolish Money Mistakes.” According to the webloid, the 18-year-old “has been burning through cash like it’s going out of style,” and now she’s “in danger of going flat broke!” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “She’s putting it out there that she’s got upwards of $10 million in her account, but the truth is that she’s worth less than a quarter of that.”
Wait a second. Jenner is “nearly broke,” but still has approximately $2.5 million to her name? RadarOnline clearly has a bizarre definition of “broke” then, as Gossip Cop is sure most people would love to have that much money.
So, in other words, Jenner isn’t broke at all, not even close. But the site simply wanted to run an eye-grabbing headline about the reality star. And, of course, as Gossip Cop has demonstrated, the outlet rarely passes up an opportunity to try to make the Kardashian-Jenner family look bad.
That’s why last weekend RadarOnline went as far as calling Kim Kardashian “disgusting” for having psoriasis. That backfired in a big way, as many other stories from the webloid have. And in the end, it’s only the site that looks bad as it remains bankrupt when it comes to the facts.
