Ozzy Osbourne said his marriage to Sharon Osbourne is “back on track” during an interview broadcast on Monday’s “Good Morning America.” Watch below.
Osbourne was asked about his “separation” from Sharon by “GMA” contributor Jesse Palmer, and he was quick to shut down that characterization. “No, it’s just a bump in the road,” the rocker insisted. And when Palmer said fans are rooting for the couple’s relationship, Osbourne said, “It’s back on track again.”
He was joined in the interview by son Jack, who chimed in, “As a married person myself, marriage is not like, ‘Hey, we’re married, all is good.’ I mean, it’s just life.” That prompted Osbourne to say, “And we both live happily ever after? I’d like to find the person who wrote that, and poke him in the eye with a burning stick. Some days it’s good, some days it’s terrible, some days you just drift apart for a while, but you get back on the horse, you know?”
The pair was on the morning show to discuss their new History Channel series, “Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour.” Jack explained, “It’s kind of like a father-son bucket list travel-history show,” while his dad said, “It’s kind of like learning about each other as well as learning about history along the way.”
He added, “I hope they enjoy the show. I hope they get a good laugh out of it and learn something about us. And just have fun with it. It’s not a serious show. It’s just a light-hearted tour around the world.” Check out the full video below.
