'How to Get Away With Murder's' season finale drew a 1.4 rating.

How to Get Away With Murder went out on a steady note.

The season two finale of the Viola Davis-led drama drew a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49, even with last week's penultimate episode. The rest of ABC's TGIT lineup was also even with the week prior, including Grey's Anatomy (2.1 adults) and Scandal (1.6 adults).

On Fox, the final season of American Idol dipped one-tenth to a 1.7 rating. However, the two-hour telecast rose in total viewers to 8.12 million viewers.

CBS was down across the board due to March Madness coverage taking over for hit Big Bang Theory and the rest of its comedy lineup. The first hour averaged a 1.2 rating at 8 p.m., and then rose to a 1.3 for the 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. hours. Those ratings will likely be readjusted later.

NBC was also even with new episodes of You, Me and the Apocalypse (0.6 adults) and Shades of Blue (1.0 adults) sandwiched between a repeat of The Blacklist. The CW also had repeats.
