Hulu Acquires Rights to ‘Curious George’

All nine seasons of the animated series will hit the streamer on March 31.

Hulu is expanding its kids programming.

In a multi-year deal, the streamer has secured the rights to animated series Curious George. Under the pact, past seasons of the show, as well as television specials and feature length movies starring the beloved monkey, will stream exclusively on Hulu's commercial-free kids section. The streamer will also be the home of any future seasons of the series.

Beginning March 31, all nine seasons of Curious George will be available to watch on Hulu, along with television specials including Curious George: Swings Into Spring, Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest and Curious George: A Very Monkey Christmas, along with the feature-length originals Curious George: Follow That MonkeyCurious George: Back To The Jungle.

Produced by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s production arm, Universal 1440 Entertainment, Curious George has consistently ranked as the highest-rated children’s animated preschool series on PBS Kids and has won two Emmys for Outstanding Children’s Animated Program.
